Morning proceed to Mysore ( 140 Kms / 4 Hrs ) . En route visit Srirangapatnam – the 18th century Summer Palace of Tipu Sultan. Check in at hotel. MYSORE - was the capital of the old royal Mysore province. The word Mysore expands to "Mahishasurana Ooru" which means the town of Mahishasura. The story goes that the demon Mahishasura was killed by goddess Chamundeshwari atop the Chamundi hill near Mysore, and hence the name. Ever since, the Mysore royal family have worshipped Chamundeshwari as the palace deity. Visit Mysore Palace, Art Gallery, St. Philomena's Church - Built in the Gothic style. and in the evening enjoy at Brindavan Gardens. Overnight at Mysore.

Morning Visit Chamundi Hills for a panoramic view of Mysore city and the famous Chamundi Temple. Proceed to Ooty ( 141 Kms / 6 Hrs ) Evening free at lake . Overnight stay at Ooty.

| Day 4 : Ooty & Coonoor |

Called the queen of southern hill stations , botanical paradise is situated at an altitude of 2,240 meters .The name Nilgiri or the Blue Mountains may have been derived from the fact that when the funnel-shaped lavender-blue flowers blossom . Morning visit Doddabetta Peak, the highest peak of Ooty, Botanical Garden ,Tea Estates & Water fall. Visit Coonoor ( 17kms ) It is not very commercialized and retains a certain amount of untouched charm. It is a small town with an equable climate that has made it popular as a hill resort in its own right. The main attractions are its view points and Sim's Park, a small well maintained botanical garden that has several varieties of plants not to be found in other parts. Also visit Lamb's Rock and Dolphins Nose .Overnight stay at ooty.
